New mental health service launched

 

Potens are pleased to announce the opening of 8 single occupancy flats for adults with mental health needs in the centre of Preston.  The service, Cannon Street, which will provide 24-hour support within accommodation-based Supported Housing with an emphasis on recovery and re-ablement.

 

Regional Director Noreen Mitchell said:

 

We are delighted to be working with Halo Housing Association to provide support at this scheme. This service is part of a wider pathway of recovery services for people with mental health needs in Lancashire. It will offer individuals an opportunity to build skills, develop self-reliance and confidence to achieve outcomes in an enabling environment.”

 

The service will be available for people who are ordinarily resident in Lancashire and who are eligible to receive Social Care services from Lancashire County Council.

 

 

Set to launch in October 2018 Potens are continuing the recruitment drive to recruit staff to join our experienced team members in Lancashire ahead of the launch of the scheme in Cannon Street.
