Queens Road is a new supported living service established in a completely refurbished and redeveloped building.

As a service we pride ourselves on nurturing the people we support along a path of progression towards achieving their aspirations and goals whatever these may be. The fully trained staff within the service recognise that independence means something different to everyone and that these nuances are to be celebrated; not seen as barriers.

The supported living service at Queens Road offers placements for up to 5 adults. At this supported community, we strive to provide a service which is as purposeful as it is meaningful; encompassing person led, bespoke support.
The Supported Living service is close to the town centre and community activities, allowing for ease of access. The building is laid out over two floors with 3 bedrooms, all en-suite on the first floor, a communal kitchen and dining area, plus a lounge on the ground floor. There are also two further self-contained annexes to the rear of the property. We also have an enclosed rear garden and parking to the front of the property.

Good transport links by bus & train to the local community in Newbury and further afield. Selection of local shops within short walking distance. Newbury town centre is less 1/2 mile away with full town amenities: shops / restaurants /Swimming pool/ sports facilities, Parks, Library, medial GP’s, train station, bus/ train station/ Cinema and so on.

Oakleigh Lodge

Oakleigh Lodge is a residential care home located in Dudley which supports adults of all ages with learning disabilities. The home can support 13 people within the main house along with 6 people within six individual adjoining flats. All bedrooms benefit from en-suite bathrooms.

The home is a large property with great accessibility, with good access to local services and shops. Taking a person centred approach, support is organised to focus on agreed outcomes. Well trained and value driven staff team that support an effective communication system and purposeful pathway.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has monitored Oakleigh Lodge since April 2011. In the last report by the CQC from August 2019, the home received an overall rating of good.

Roman Park

Roman Park is a registered residential care home for up to 14 adults with learning disabilities and autism located in Syston, Leicestershire.

Roman Park offers individualised packages of care and support in a stable environment, taking a person centred approach with the aim to support people to build their confidence and develop daily living skills.

Arbour House School – Maen

We are a special independent school that offers flexible education for pupils between 6-18 years of age. Our main aim is to maximise the potential of young people so that they gain the necessary skills and strategies to both educationally and personally develop. We particularly take into consideration pupils’ strengths and special interests which is harnessed to develop their love of learning.

When the environment is right children flourish. We aim to provide an environment which is conducive to the specific learning needs of our pupils. We have positive regard for our pupils and value their involvement in our school along with their families.

Segal Gardens

 

Segal Gardens is a specialist residential service based in St.Helens supporting individuals with autism, mental ill health, learning disabilities and complex needs. Segal Gardens comprises of three distinct services: Segal House, Oakwood House and Berry Bridge House, each able to support 5 people.

The houses are set within a three-acre site with lots of outdoor space including a sensory garden and planting area. We then also have the historical country park on our doorstep so there is plenty of green space for people to enjoy. In addition we have a separate large communal building that is used for everything from social events to activities and family meetings and reviews.

Segal House
Segal House can provide 24/7 specialised support and facilities for adults with learning disability, autism and complex needs. With three ground floor rooms and two first floor rooms plus additional lounge, dining and kitchen we are able to provide person centred support in a homely environment. Our skilled staff team are experienced in person-centred support and our range of services and strategies can support individuals to effectively manage behaviours that may challenge.

Oakwood House
Oakwood House is a purpose built property that can provide 24/7 support for both male and female with a learning disability/autism. The property is homely and decorated to a high standard, it can also accommodate five people, all rooms have ensuite facilities. Our holistic approach is person-centred and promotes positive outcomes and development of skills for life. We work with individuals, and those significant in their lives, to set and achieve short, medium and long-term goals. These may change over time; our staff support and encourage the people we support to be actively engaged in reviewing their support plans.

Berry Bridge House

Berry Bridge House was also purpose built and can provide 24/7 support for five male adults with mental health needs. The accommodation is both spacious and homely, all rooms have ensuite facilities. At Berry Bridge House we understand that when people experience mental health conditions that they are supported in retaining their independent life skills, staff do however recognise that some people may experience enduring mental health conditions which may impact on their social behaviour and life skills.

Wrockwardine Flats, Telford

Wrockwardine Flats is a supported living flat scheme in Telford providing specialist support for up to 12 individuals with learning disabilities and / or autism.

Tarrant House

Tarrant House is a specialist residential care home service for 7 adults with learning disabilities and other support needs in Perranporth, Cornwall. We can support complex epilepsy and people with specialist communication needs.

Tarrant House which is a welcoming, supportive, and stimulating residential service ready to welcome new people and support them in leading an independent life.

We support up to 7 individuals in a spacious detached house. There are plenty of communal areas to socialise including a kitchen, lounge, dining room, conservatory. People also have access to a large garden area with a swing seat, tables & chairs, garden games that everyone enjoys when the weather is good.

Perranporth is a seaside town with many independent local shops and amenities. We have an amazing soft sandy beach; all within a mile although the house is in a quiet location just on the outskirts in an area called Perrancoombe. Cornwall boosts many visitor attractions, National Heritage sites, National Trust locations. Nearby Truro is Cornwall’s only city with shopping, restaurants, cinema, theatre, museum and much more. Newquay, famous for its surfing, has stunning beaches, a boating lake, Zoo, golf course, many restaurants, and pubs. There are beautiful coastal paths throughout Cornwall and nearby.

Westward

 

Westward is a residential service located in Dawlish, Devon, for 7 individuals with learning disabilities with associated mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. Our service provides both long and short-term residential care.

We promote independence in every part of the support we deliver, in the endeavour to achieve the best quality of life for the individual.

Our Westward team is a group of people who have years of experience, and know that with the right kind of support and environment, it is possible for people with learning disabilities and associated behaviour that challenges to lead the life they want to achieve.

We aim to deliver a high standard of professional care at all times to the residents in our care. The care provision at Westward endorses a holistic, personalised approach, which is sensitive to the needs of each resident.

 

Walker Heights

Walker Heights is a brand new supported living flat scheme providing specialist support for up to 17 individuals with learning disabilities, autism and / or mental health needs.

The service is situated near the centre of Birkenhead on the Wirral. Walker Heights is very close to various public transport links with easy access to nearby towns and cities such as Wallasey, Ellesmere Port and Liverpool.

The service provides support enabling individuals to maintain their own tenancy and access local inclusive community activities, education, volunteering and paid employment. Support for each person is tailored to meet their individual needs achieved through Person Centred Planning with the individual’s input and involvement at the core.
