Oakleigh Lodge

Oakleigh Lodge is a residential care home in Dudley that supports adults under 65 with learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. We offer accommodation for 13 people in the main house and 6 people in individual adjoining flats, all with en-suite bathrooms for comfort and privacy.

Well trained and value driven staff team that support an effective communication system and purposeful pathway. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has monitored Oakleigh Lodge since April 2011. In the last report by the CQC from August 2019, the home received an overall rating of good.

Weekly & Fortnightly:
– Exercise classes with a gym instructor
– Crafting club at the local church, bingo, and disco
– Clay making and art lessons with professionals
– Golf sessions with a professional instructor
– Shopping trips, pub visits, and church services
– Social visits to local advocacy groups

Seasonal:
– Christmas pantomimes and local performances
– Fishing, swimming, park and museum trips
– Holidays in England and abroad

Daily:
– Sensory activities
– Arts and crafts and karaoke
– Cooking, gardening and quizzes
– Dog walking and music sessions

We currently have two vacancies. One is an ensuite with a wet room with access onto the garden (steps down to access garden) and a small seating area outside the bedroom door. The second room is a larger wet room ensuite bedroom room that can be accessible for wheelchairs/hoisting.
