Avondale Lodge is a Registered Residential Care home for 12 adults providing daily support for individuals with learning disabilities, additional mental health needs, complex & challenging behaviour, autism and physical disabilities. We can also cater for long-term respite placements.
The service is close to Redcar town centre and local attractions such as; Redcar Seaside which consists of a Beach, Amusements, Eateries, Cafés and Restaurants, Kirkleatham Museum and Saltburn Cliff Tramway.

The skilled staff team benefit from a minimum of NVQ level 2, Safeguarding, Medication Management, Moving & Handling, Emergency First Aid and Positive Behavioural Support. Our staff receive consistent guidance from Potens Behavioural Support & Therapy Team, accessing solutions to communication issues, daily living difficulties and any behaviours that challenge.
