Rebecca is supported at Achieve with Us in Leicester – her story begins around four years ago.
“Rebecca visited Achieve with Us for a taster session in 2015 and we found out she had a passion for films and books!
We set about exploring books and characters with her over her next sessions – using finger puppets to express how we were feeling. This worked brilliantly and helped us to communicate and engage Rebecca – in fact one of our team members Ed sat for hours on end at the beginning reading different books with her.
As her confidence grew so did her involvement in activities and her experiences widened. We now have movie days, read books, visit the cinema and have drinks in town – all the things she loves! Rebecca is like a different person – her confidence has grown and her personality has blossomed.
With the right care and support, tailored specifically to her, she has become a happy person enjoying her days here at Achieve with Us.”
