James lives at Heathfield Gardens and has been excited about turning 40 this year. He asked his keyworker Maryjane Ball to organise a party to celebrate his birthday inviting all his friends – it was a huge success!
James wanted his party to be on his birthday and with the help of Maryjayne, James picked a party tent and decided on a BBQ theme.
Staff and James helped with all the preparations for the party, setting banners and balloons up and getting the tent party ready! James picked the music for the party and everyone helped prepare and cook on the BBQ.
Staff and residents from nearby service Newbold attended the party too. Everyone enjoyed the party: dancing, singing and enjoying all the food – the weather was amazing too!
After the party James thanked Maryjane for a great party and said that he “would remember this party forever.”
