The gentleman at Heathfield Gardens have been creative in the conservatory this year and have turned it into a traditional Christmas, by making the fireplace and many decorations for the room. 🪵❄️
John at Middleton Lodge has been getting very excited for Santa coming. 🎅
Registered Manager Christine said “Every morning, I have John in my office asking if he can ring Santa on my phone. 📞 John has done his Santa list which is getting bigger by the day. 😁 We downloaded the Santa app on our phones and John loves this, he loves hearing Santa’s voice. 🎅 On Saturday John went to visit Santa and he loved it and asked Santa for an ABBA cd and a radio.. we have added these to his list today!” 📃🎁
The staff at Achieve With Us have organised a ‘design your own Christmas card competition’. 🦌
Deputy Manager Louise said “There were some wonderful entries to the competition, but the overall winner was …….Russell! 👏 As you can see from the photographs Russell did a draft copy then drew the original onto card. Which we then photocopied and the people we support made the cards up. 😊 We will be sending our cards out in the next few days. Russell seemed really pleased with the finished copy. 🙌 Well done Russell, a really beautiful design.” 🎅🛷
The residents of Oakleigh Lodge took part in the Christmas Tree Festival at their local church. 🎄⛪
Activities Coordinator Kayleigh said “They have worked very hard over the last couple of weeks to design our tree of creativity. 👏 Everything from Christmas trees to Santa’s and even reindeers. 🦌 Over the weekend the church opened for all to see the wonderful trees on display and the people we support attended to see all the trees, along with their own. 🎄 Their tree looks wonderful.” 😃
At Orme House the people we support have enjoyed some Christmas crafts! 🎨🎅
Manager Katie said “From making homemade baubles, to Christmas cards, it was nice to see so much creativity going on and great to hear everyone praising each other’s work. 🤩 We are going to enter this year’s Christmas Craft competition with CIW. Good Luck to all who have taken part.” 😊
