Good luck to our Business Development Manager Steve Field who is taking part in ‘Kip on the Kop’ at Tranmere Rovers FC tonight – joining other fundraisers to sleep rough in a bid to raise funds for the homeless in Wirral.
For Steve this cause is very close to his heart – having spent 7 weeks in a homeless shelter.
Steve says: “For most people their bed is a warm, comfortable and safe place. Unfortunately, there are many people in our society that do not have a bed of their own for a variety of reasons. Wirral Ark works with these people to address their complex issues and help them to create a footprint in society, guiding them towards independent living.”
To make the experience as realistic as possible Steve is not allowed any camping equipment apart from a sleeping bag, cardboard / plastic sheeting and lots of clothes!
