On Saturday 1st of March, the people we support at Orme House celebrated St David’s Day.
The day is a celebration of Welsh culture, traditional food and music from the country’s patron saint – St David.
Manager Katie said “The people we support at Orme House celebrated the day by making some sweet treats. We made two different Welsh Fudges, some Welsh Cakes and Bara Brith. Once all the goodies were made, we all sat together and celebrated the Welsh culture and worn some Welsh hats and put up some Welsh bunting.”
It looks like you all enjoyed your St David’s Day celebrations, the fudge looks fantastic – well done everyone!
It’s lovely to see you all enjoying your Welsh traditions together.
