Sarah who lives at Newbold Road has been doing some research over the last couple of months about local activities/events and came across a theatre performance of The Gruffalo. Which has always been one of Sarah’s favourite books. 😊
Staff member Bec said “Sarah was supported to book tickets and make travel arrangements for the show, Sarah has consistently managed her savings to ensure she can access fun days out like this, which the team at Newbold are incredibly proud of Sarah for doing. 🙌 On the day Sarah got ready, packing her bag (which included a puzzle book to entertain her on the train journey) and set off with support staff Jez. 🚆 Once in Nottingham Sarah browsed the shops, did some Christmas shopping for her family and got some food. 🛍️ Sarah was impressed with the performance of The Gruffalo and told staff she really enjoyed it. After the show Sarah headed home to tell everyone about her day and spend the evening relaxing. 😊 Once again, Sarah has had another great day out, thanks to her careful researching and planning. Staff at Newbold continuously look forward to Sarah’s future adventures!” 🤩
