This week at Calder View and Pendle View Registered Manager Debbie had arranged for a small buffet for staff and the people we support to enjoy before the start of Ramadan tomorrow.
Debbie said “For my staff at Calder and Pendle – Zaheer, Belle, Sahra and Alishbar who are starting Ramadan this Friday I arranged a small buffet so we could enjoy some treats before the fasting starts. I presented them with a Ramadan advent calendar each as a special treat, they were all so appreciative. We then enjoyed a chat with some of the Pendle team and people we support about the culture and ethics behind Ramadan and what it means to them whist enjoying the food. It was a lovely afternoon.” ✨
