Paxton House have built a summer house in the service’s garden in Derby!
Team member Hannah told us: “The people we support at Paxton House all enjoy doing lots of different in-house activities, including arts and crafts and playing games. During these sessions the house can become quite noisy, which can sometimes be disruptive for some of the other people living here.”
The summer house was the perfect solution – an idea that came from the people supported at Paxton during a house meeting. Hannah added: “With the summer house complete, the people we support can do what they love in an environment where they can make as much noise as they like without upsetting others. It has also given our head gardener Ada the opportunity to re-do the garden with help from staff!”
