Paul from Garfield has been on his first-ever train ride! 🚉👏
Keyworker David said “After a discussion with Paul about trains I suggested a trip to Blaenau Ffestiniog for his first train ride as this was a quieter route with fantastic views and Paul was keen to give this a go! 🚆 On the day Paul was supported to catch the bus to the station ready for our train ride along the Conwy valley line. Paul enjoyed the journey and we even stopped for breakfast. 🍽️ We explored the slate quarry using the public footpath, before heading back for our departing train, where Paul was able to demonstrate his new knowledge of timetables for the journey home. 🚄 Paul’s luck was in and he even got to see the spirit of Snowdon steam train which he was really pleased about. 🙌 Paul really enjoyed his day and has completed another activity and goal.” 🌟
