Paul at Oakleigh Lodge has been busy this year looking after the vegetable patch and has grown peas, beans, tomatoes, lettuce and even his first-ever cucumber! 🥒🍅
Activities Coordinator Kayleigh said “We are so proud of Paul’s achievements this year with his gardening. 👏 Everyone was so excited to see the first cucumber grow and we can’t wait for it to grow even bigger! Unfortunately, the slugs got the better of his cabbage. 🥬 Paul has been frequently de-weeding the area, watering the crops and plants every day and recounting the tomatoes as more appear. 🍅 He’s enjoyed sharing the crops with the kitchen and his friends who have been enjoying the homegrown vegetables on their dinners!” 🤩
