Niall who lives at Newbold Road has had a wonderful start to the year and has a built a great bond with new staff member Kirsty!
Support worker Bec said, “We have had a new staff member named Kirsty join the team, who Niall has already built a lovely bond with. Niall has been showing Kirsty his independence skills of hoovering, washing pots and preparing himself a sandwich, all with a little support from Kirsty! Well done Niall, keep working on your skills, you are doing so well! Niall has also visited the local shop a couple of times with staff members Kirsty and Erin, purchasing himself a drink and a dessert. Whilst at the shop, Niall was in a fantastic mood, telling jokes and interacting with the staff at the shop, who all know him now as he is a regular. Niall is very sociable and enjoys getting to know staff members, it is lovely to see Niall develop new bonds with staff and to see him showing off what he can do and continue to develop his skills with the new staff members.”
A big warm Potens welcome Kirsty on joining us in your new support worker role at Newbold Road. What a great start you have had by building a lovely bond with Niall.
We hope you are enjoying your new role with us at Potens. ✨
