Last week, staff from our ‘outstanding’ service, Mansard House, attended a special lunch with the Chairman of Lancashire County Council.
Potens are pleased to announce the opening of 8 single occupancy flats for adults with mental health needs in the centre of Preston. The service, Cannon Street, which will provide 24-hour support within accommodation-based Supported Housing with an emphasis on recovery and re-ablement.

Every summer is carnival season in the west of England and the individuals living at Oakleigh in Dawlish enjoy watching the floats and festivities in their home town. This year resident Damon Rackley had enough of standing on the side lines and decided to participate – resulting in him winning first prize in the fancy dress competition!

Following our announcement that Potens are Official Supporters of Special Olympics GB, and in an attempt to get themselves and the people we support and staff warmed up for the Special Olympics, Potens’ Senior Management Team (SMT) organised their very own relay last week, using our very own Challenge Charter cards as a baton – inspired and touched by the Matt Campbell story.
Potens is delighted to announce they have become an Official Supporter of Special Olympics GB for the next 12 months – supporting the largest year-round, all ability, sports programme in Great Britain which supports over 10,000 athletes with learning disabilities.
