At Oakleigh Lodge, the people we support visited their local farm to go pumpkin picking and to have a look at all the Halloween decorations whilst enjoying a chocolate apple. 🍫🍎
Activities Coordinator Kayleigh said “When we returned home from the farm everyone enjoyed some pumpkin carving and making some autumnal flower displays for the tables in our dining room. 🎃🍂 Some of the people we support had a wonderful time visiting the Backcountry Museum for Halloween. 💀 Where they got to go down into the old mines with spooky creatures jumping out along the way. 🤡 There was circus acts, fire jugglers, characters dressed up, animal displays and much more. 🤹👻 They had an absolute blast and said it was a great night. 🙌 We all had a fantastic Halloween together!” 💛
Darlington Supported Living (DSL) and Middleton Lodge came together for a big Halloween party! 👻🦇🎉
Manager at DSL Liz said “The staff and people we support from Darlington Supported Living and Middleton Lodge decided to celebrate Halloween in style. 🤩 It was wonderful to see the people we support taking such a lead with games, food and decorations. 🎃 We had a fantastic day and some amazing costumes.” 🙌
Cecil Court and Dale House had an amazing time at their Halloween party, as you can see from the pictures everyone dressed up and played games such as apple bobbing, pin the nose on the witch and the best mummy. 🍏🧟
Manager Joanne said, “We had lots of fun games at our Halloween party. 🕷️😁 We split the party games up with a Halloween inspired quiz and of course the popping of the balloons to receive facts about Halloween and some unwanted guests of cockroaches. 😗🎈 There was some delicious food and plenty of singing and dancing to be had, and of course the presentations for the winners of each game and best dressed. 🏆 We would like to thank our lovely wellbeing lead Tracy L for such an amazing party, it was the best yet! 👏 Jane also had lots of fun attending her day Centre’s Halloween party.” 🎃🎊
