Everyone at Heathfield Gardens is celebrating after another hugely successful bake sale, and this one has achieved something truly special!
Thanks to the incredible support of those who baked, donated, purchased treats, and took part, we have successfully raised the full amount needed to fund the local community bus for an entire year.
The impact of this achievement reaches far beyond fundraising. The community bus provides vital transport for older people in the local villages, enabling them to attend clubs, activities, and events at the church and village hall. These opportunities help reduce social isolation, strengthen community connections, and support positive physical and mental wellbeing.
By coming together for a simple bake sale, we have helped ensure that local people can continue to access friendship, social activities, and meaningful community involvement throughout the year.
