Heath Lodge

Heath Lodge is a registered residential care home for up to 8 adults and supports people with mental health needs and/or acquired brain injuries. People may also have sensory needs along with learning disabilities.

Heath Lodge is a detached house with a large area at the front for parking and a large, enclosed garden at the rear of the property. There are 5 bedrooms within the main building which all have en-suite facilities and access to a communal kitchen, lounge, and conservatory.

Alongside this we also support people who are more independent and reside in one of the three annexes. There is ramped access to the one annexe and the bathroom is suitable for people who mobilise using wheelchairs.

We are committed to ensuring quality outcomes for each person, focusing on recovery and pathways to independent community living. The property is situated in a popular part of Padgate with a fantastic community of people and is within close proximity to bus and train stations.

Avoca

This is a supported living service for adults aged 30 – 65 years who have a learning disability. In addition they may have additional needs which we can support to develop their skills and independence.

Avoca – is a detached building over two stories, comprising of communal lounge, dining room kitchen and laundry on ground floor and 3 bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Upstairs there are a further 3 bedrooms, 1 with en-suite shower room and others use communal bathroom.

The service is situated in Fazakerley and is close to local shops and public transport links and hospitals. The nearest towns it is situated too is Belle Vale and Kirby. Liverpool city centre is within easy travelling distance.

An experienced staff team provide 24/7 round the clock support – the emphasis is very much on enablement and this gives individuals the opportunity and confidence to relearn and regain some of the skills they may have lost because of poor health, disability or after a spell in hospital. Or likewise, to acquire skills through opportunities to learn them through staff support or vocational/educational training.

Newlands Drive

Newlands is a Registered Residential home, offering individualised and tailored support for 12 people.
We support people to plan for their future, through identifying aspirations, goals and areas of development.

Newlands provides a homely environment for twelve people in two adjoining properties.

The service is in a prime location close to Wallasey town centre and it’s amenities, and has excellent transport links to surrounding areas.

Crompton Street

Crompton Street is a purpose build bungalow in North Liverpool residential area with good transport links to the City Centre, Crosby and Southport areas.

• Registered Residential service for people with mental health issues and complex needs.

• The aim of the service is to deliver first class quality care and support to adults with mental health issues, challenging behaviours, autism, learning disabilities and communication problems.

• We support people in managing a range of issues including their finances, diet & nutrition, positive social inclusion and daily living skills.

• We encourage a recovery and re-enablement model of support taking an individualised approach with the aim being to achieve what the person themselves would see as regaining a meaningful life, with staff on hand to facilitate
this.

• Upon admission a person centred support and enablement plan is developed and is based upon goals and outcomes an individual wants to achieve.

• Staff are trained in the delivery of personal care and will support with this in line with commissioned needs.

• We encourage the help and support of families, friends and professionals in the recovery of the individual.

7-9 Park Road South

7-9 Park Road South is a specialist mental health residential service and can support adults with additional complex needs.

It comprises of a large property with excellent facilities, located in Birkenhead. Well trained and a value driven staff team support people through their recovery journey – with an effective communication system and purposeful pathway using programs such as the Recovery Star model.

We offer individual packages of support in a stable environment enabling and empowering individuals to live as independently as possible with a strong track record of supporting people on to more independent living.

Balfour Road

Balfour is a Supported Living Service for 4 people in Birkenhead which encourages a homely environment, supporting daily living activities and facilitating access to local inclusive community activities. The service is for female tenants and has an all female staff team.

Balfour Road is close to the town centre and community activities of Birkenhead. The service offers people with high support needs a package which includes individualised support & care, in a stable environment, aiding activities of daily living.

The skilled staff team benefit from training and guidance from Potens Behavioural Therapy Team, accessing solutions to communication issues, daily living difficulties and any behaviour that challenges. We take a person-centred approach, encouraging independence focusing on outcomes of individuals and to acquire new skills through opportunities to learn from staff support or vocational/educational training.

Facilities – Large terraced house with 4 rooms over 2 floors, with neutral decoration and space for sleeping & living in each personal room. There are a variety of communal rooms, bathroom, lounge, dining room & kitchen, plus a rear patio area.

 

 

Elm Road North

Elm Road North has a commitment to promote individual independence by inclusion, involvement and participation.
Staff are trained to deliver an active support model of care and support to enable independence in line with
the individual needs of residents.

Spacious terraced house with 6 rooms over 2 floors, with neutral decoration and space for sleeping and living in each personal room.
There are a variety of communal rooms, bathrooms, shower wetroom, lounge, dining room and kitchen, plus gardens.

Registered Residential Care Home for up to 5 male adults with a learning disability and complex needs.

Elm Road North is close to the town centre and community activities of Birkenhead.

Taking a person centred approach, support is organised to focus on agreed outcomes.

Well trained and value driven staff team that support an effective communication system and purposeful pathway.

Individual packages of support and care in a stable environment aiding activities of daily living.

Arbennig Unit

The Arbennig unit provides specialised services for 13 people diagnosed with Alcohol Related Brain Damage (ARBD), which includes Acquired Brain Injury, Korsakoff’s and Alcohol related dementia.

Our skilled and motivated staff provide a calm, predictable, and well structured environment where information is cued with visual or verbal prompts.

Treatment is provided within the context of our clinical support model, which focuses support on alcohol abstinence, family involvement, and rehabilitation.

The support we provide is designed to encourage and enable the re-learning of the individual’s skills, building self-esteem and supporting the individual towards new beginnings. We believe that people with a diagnosis of Alcohol Related Brain Damage can benefit from this person centred environment.

A no alcohol policy is enforced to prevent further impairment. Staff will support residents to develop relapse prevention strategies, working with local agencies.

Due to the specialist nature of this service, we take referrals from across the UK.

Glenhaven

Registered Residential home, providing accommodation & support for seven people with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Glenhaven is close to the community centre and activities of Llandudno. The service offers people with high support needs a package which includes individualised support & care, in a stable environment, aiding activities of daily living.

The skilled staff team benefit from training and guidance from Potens Behavioural Support & Therapy Team, accessing solutions to communication issues, daily living difficulties and any behaviour that challenges.

Facilities – Spacious house with 7 rooms over 3 floors, with neutral decoration and space for sleeping & living in each personal room. There are a variety of communal rooms, bathroom, lounge, dining room & kitchen, plus a rear patio area.
