Longlast, is a well-established 11-bed residential care home for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities in Stockton-on-Tees.
We currently have 11 clients with learning disabilities, residing in single rooms. Our home accommodates both men and women, and our clients must be over 18 years old. We can continue to provide care beyond the age of 65, provided we can meet their ongoing health requirements.
Longlast, a spacious detached house nestled amidst its own grounds, lies between the villages of Carlton and Thorpe Thewles, just outside Stockton-on-Tees. Spanning approximately an acre, these beautiful gardens are a year-round delight for the home’s clients.
The house boasts eleven single bedrooms, with four generously sized ground-floor rooms featuring en-suite shower rooms. The remaining seven bedrooms are all located on the first floor, each equipped with a vanity basin. These rooms share access to a spacious full bathroom and two shower rooms.The bedroom sizes range from 10.5 square meters to 17.15 square meters
The ground floor is very spacious and consists of a large lounge through to the dining room, a second lounge with access to the conservatory, Kitchen with dining area, laundry and office.
Located in picturesque gardens amidst a semi-rural setting on the outskirts of Stockton-on-Tees, we are deeply rooted in the local community. Our goal is to offer our clients a life akin to living independently or with their families, while simultaneously providing essential care, support, and opportunities for personal growth.
We prioritise inclusivity in our community, ensuring our clients participate in community activities or any social events they desire. This is achieved through offering choices, flexibility, and active listening, tailored to individual needs and group dynamics.
Each client is treated as a unique individual and with dignity and respect. Our home aims to be a welcoming, joyful, and secure environment, providing a long-term home for life, as long as our clients remain happy and our care meets their evolving needs.
Our clients possess diverse abilities, ranging from those who enjoy maintaining and enhancing their skills and independence, capable of performing some tasks independently, to those who require staff assistance for most daily activities.
