185 Watling Street Road is a registered residential home that provides care and support for both male and female adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities, including those with a forensic history in Preston.
We adopt a person-centred approach, focusing on positive, individualised outcomes. By working within the Mental Health Recovery Star model, we strive to promote independence, support rehabilitation and encourage active involvement in local community activities.
In addition to comfortable living accommodation, the house offers a dedicated area for therapeutic activities, providing individuals with the opportunity to engage in meaningful and rehabilitative practices. The home’s layout encourages social interaction and supports the individual’s recovery and development in a safe, nurturing environment.
We encourage people to explore individual interests and hobbies and support people to access resources locally. Regular trips out as groups or trips on a 1:1 basis depending on personal preference.
