In August we officially launched REACH, our new skills centre that is based at 37 King Street, Blackburn and it was a huge success!
The event was attended by people we support, their families, our health and social work colleagues, the local community and anyone interested in finding out more about the fantastic new centre.
The new centre was officially opened by the Mayor of Blackburn who also resented Tommy, the winner of the name the centre competition, with his prize. Jen Cottrell, Service Manager, said: “The day provided an opportunity for service users , families and professionals to come and gather further information on what the skills centre has to offer.”
There were activities throughout the day showcasing our ASDAN curriculum which learners will now have the opportunity to follow.
“It was lovely to see so many of the people we support telling others why they like coming and showing off their new look skills centre.” Jen adds.
