On Tuesday we celebrated International Men’s Day! 🌍💙
The day is celebrated to recognise the contributions men make to their work, family and community with this year’s theme of ‘Positive Male Role Models’. 🌟
At Supported Lives, they presented the men with a special certificate to thank them for always going above and beyond. 🙌

“On International Men’s Day, we take a moment to honour the incredible men who make a difference in our lives, both at work and beyond. This day is a time to reflect on the 6 key objectives that drive the celebration of men worldwide:
1. Promoting Positive Male Role Models:
Not just movie stars and athletes, but the everyday heroes—like the men we work alongside—who show integrity, dedication, and hard work each and every day.
2. Celebrating Contributions to Society:
Today, we recognise the positive impact men have on our communities, families, workplaces, and the world around them. From being supportive fathers and partners to valuable colleagues, their contributions are invaluable.
3. Focusing on Health and Wellbeing:
Men’s health—social, emotional, physical, and spiritual—is essential. Let’s continue to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and the need to support one another in every aspect of our well-being.
4. Highlighting Discrimination Against Men:
There are still many areas where men face challenges and discrimination. Let’s keep working toward fairness and equality in all aspects of life.
5. Improving Gender Relations:
We strive for gender equality by fostering respect, collaboration, and understanding among all individuals, regardless of gender.
6. Creating a Safer, Better World:
A world where all people, regardless of gender, can thrive, reach their full potential, and live in safety.
In honour of these objectives, I want to take this opportunity to recognise the amazing men here at Supported Lives.
