This week at Highgate House, they hosted a Register to Vote party in the Hub! ✍🙌
Manager Kris said, “We opened the Hub at Highgate to have a ‘Register to Vote Party’ this afternoon. There were a lot of accessible resources available via the ‘My Vote, My Voice’ campaign and we were able to assist some of the people we support to register to vote online. This was a valuable afternoon promoting the rights of everyone to be able to vote in the upcoming elections regardless of disability or diagnosis and provide information in a way that is accessible to all, aiding independence, choice and promoting equality. It was also a lovely chance to socialise with others from services in the local area. Thank you to the teams at Highgate and Somerville and Stuart Rush for providing the resources and all the people we support who visited.” 😊
