Jane celebrated her 50th birthday in style at Dale House! 🙌
Senior Support Worker Michaela said, “JT has been so ecstatic all week thinking about her birthday but she did not know what was in store for her, the staff kept all of her surprises between themselves to make the day even more special for JT. 😃 It started on Sunday when Caron told JT she could open one present because she wasn’t going to see her on her birthday. 🎁 When JT opened her gift she was so excited to see that she had a Sunderland football top, this is her favourite football team! ⚽ She was so happy with this; however, it didn’t end there! Little did JT know, staff had organised for JT to attend her first-ever football match! 🙌 JT is very rarely speechless but she was very much speechless on Sunday! It was so lovely to see JT’s face and how much work the staff supported to make her special day really made her smile! 🌟 It didn’t stop there for the birthday celebrations, staff also organised for her to have a 30-minute Indian Head Massage on the morning of her birthday ready for her party in the evening. 💆♀️ JT then enjoyed a pizza party with her friends and family in the evening which she also thoroughly enjoyed. 🍕 Happy 50th Birthday JT, we hope you have had the best birthday and made memories to last a lifetime!” 🧡
Jane said “I Got up, Caron told me I could open a present because I wouldn’t see her, I was shocked, I couldn’t believe it when I got my Sunderland top! I was as happy as larry, absolutely speechless. 😲 She told me a taxi was coming at 10am, I was thinking where am I going to? I still had no idea where I was going until I seen the tickets in the card whilst I was in the taxi. 🚕 I couldn’t believe it! I was blown away! It was the first match I’d ever been to and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I got to meet the black cat’s mascots, sitting front row. As soon as Sunderland scored, I was as happy as larry, I was amazed. 🤩 I was really really happy with the scoreline. It was the best day EVER and the best present EVER, scored 2-0 within 20 minutes. It was 4-0 overall against Sheffield Wednesday. I still can’t believe it!” ⚽😁
