At Supported Lives in Bradford, Positive Behaviours Support Lead Georgia has provided some Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) training with the staff and some of the people we support joined in too! 🌟
Georgia said “During the recent EDI training I provided at Supported Lives, we were joined by one of the people we support called Ben, who enjoyed joining in on the training. The attendees stated that it was really helpful to learn about other religions and cultures outside their own. They had not heard of Seventh Day Adventist or realised that Rastafarianism is a religion. We spoke about inclusiveness outside of our own cultures and beliefs, everyone found the day beneficial and enjoyable. They all stated that they will certainly take the values of the day and new information learnt into their places of work. It was a very successful training day and it was great to discuss equality, diversity and inclusion with the staff and people we support and gain their opinions!” 🙌
