Elaine at Middleton Lodge has been busy the past couple of days with practicing her cooking skills, keeping active and completing her daily tasks at home.
Registered Manager Christine said, “Elaine has enjoyed cooking with staff and recently made cheese scones for her and some others in Middleton to enjoy after lunch. Elaine was able to do the full task herself, and I must say the cheese scones look yummy. Clare sat with Elaine and she made herself a personalised rewards chart for each week to help her focus on her daily tasks and looks forward to ticking them off every day with her own pen to do that special tick! ✅ Elaine loves to go to the local café MJ’S and after ticking off all her tasks she decided to visit MJ’S and enjoyed a lovely hot chocolate with a slice of cake with Chi. ☕ It’s lovely to see Elaine doing these daily tasks and achieving new goals. I love hearing about her achievements and I often join her in her laps of the building and we chat about our day… roll on the summer so we can get more walking done out in the community. Keep going with the massive achievements and cooking. We are so proud of you!”
