At Paxton House, they have been very busy celebrating Fiona’s and Eva’s birthdays. 🎊
Manager Viorika said, “For her 30th birthday Fiona requested a Halloween-themed birthday party. So that’s what we did the staff and people we support arranged the party mixed in with her favourite thing…Music! 🎃🎵 Ada and Lydia helped to prepare for Fiona’s party by decorating biscuits with photos of Fiona. 🍪 Gareth had helped Helen to decorate the dining room. 🙌 Fiona’s mum, dad and cousin also came along to join in on the fun, with karaoke and lots of dancing. 🎤😊 Staff member Helen tried to create the right balance between Halloween and birthday to ensure Fiona got just what she wanted and making sure we acknowledged this big milestone. 👏All the people we support were invited to enjoy the party at their own pace as we diversified the activities at the party to meet their individual needs. The party was a huge success, enjoyed by all, so much so, we may add karaoke and dancing nights to our weekly activity planner.” 🤩
It sounds like Fiona had the best day surrounded by all her friends and family at Paxton House. 🥳 It’s great to see all the people we support getting involved in arranging the birthday parties for each other and participating in the fun! 🙌💛
For Eva’s 24th birthday, she spent the day at Alton Splash Landings with her mum, sister and staff member Stacey. 😀
Stacey said “Eva enjoyed her day out and loved floating around and relaxing in the water, before heading to a local pub for some lunch. 🤩 Whilst back at Paxton, the house was being prepared with decorations being put up and Eva’s favourite meal of pizza was prepared. 🥳🍕 Eva was smiling and laughing throughout her meal and was very happy indeed. All the people we support enjoyed her birthday celebrations when Eva was home with a small party and some good food! Happy 24th Eva, we really hope you had a fabulous day.” 💗
Viorika said, “Everyone at Paxton loves a birthday party, a time to celebrate with their housemates and take part in dancing, singing and enjoy some delicious party food. 🙌 Everyone said happy birthday to Eva and most importantly, Eva appeared to have a very happy fun-filled day not only with staff and her friends but also with her family. 😊 It’s lovely to be able to support families in these special moments.” 🤍
