Come Dine with Me, Parkside Lodge edition! 🍽

Come Dine with Me, Parkside Lodge edition! 🍽👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳

At Parkside Lodge they challenged four members of staff to take part in their come dine with me, where each night they made a meal for the people we support that they like to cook at home. 🍲

Senior support worker Sarah said, “We have had an array of different meals cooked, Lyndsey made gammon broth, Sarah C made chicken alfredo, Sarah B made a vegetable lasagne and Joleen made spaghetti bolognese. 🍝 The people we support were also treated to a dessert each night! 🍨 This was a lovely idea and it was nice for the people we support to try meals they wouldn’t usually have. 🙌 They all enjoyed getting involved in trying new foods and rating the dishes they enjoyed! 💯 Kerry told staff ‘This is going to be a close competition’ and Joanne said, ‘We have been treated this week’. In the end a winner couldn’t be decided as everyone liked each meal so much. 😁 We are going to do this again, but the tables will be turned and next time the people we support will be cooking their favourite dishes with the support of staff!” 🤩

A fantastic idea, well done to all the staff team for cooking up some delicious meals 😍 and to the people we support for participating and trying new foods! 👏🧡

The question now is, who will win when the tables are turned and the people we support are cooking their dishes for the staff in Come Dine with Me, Parkside Lodge edition episode 2…
