Charlie who lives at Newbold Road has had a busy birthday filled with lots of presents, a trip to the farm and a meal out. 🎉
Staff member Bec said, “Charlie got ready in the morning and was supported to prepare a fry-up for breakfast, opened his presents and cards with staff, and then spent time engaging with his new sensory items. 🍳🎁 Throughout the morning Charlie visited a local farm in Chesterfield with support staff Jez and Tracy. 🐐 Charlie enjoyed his time at the farm, feeding and stroking the animals and looking around the farm shop. 😁 After this Charlie popped to a local pub and enjoyed a burger and chips. 🍔 Once home Charlie spent the afternoon having fun with his parents. In the evening everyone sang happy birthday to Charlie, all spending a bit of time together eating birthday cake. 🎂 Charlie then ended his day relaxing and engaging with his new birthday presents.” 🤩
