At Celtic Dawn in South Wales, they have signed up to complete Mind’s 56 Miles in Februrary Challenge in aid of Mental Health.
Manager Kirsty said, “As a team we have signed up to complete the challenge of walking 56 miles throughout February. Our residents Debbie and Margaret will be joining us on walks to raise the money, £100 is our goal and we get a medal once we hit this, so fingers crossed. We are looking forward to getting out on our walks and raising awareness of mental health together.”
Walking is a great way to improve your overall wellbeing. The physical activity can help relieve stress, improve sleep, build confidence and manage symptoms of depression and anxiety. ✨
Well done everyone at Celtic Dawn for signing up to this challenge and supporting others with their mental health by fundraising for such a fantastic charity like Mind. This challenge will give you great motivation to keep moving each day to improve your overall wellbeing.
Challenging yourself is a great way to achieve your goals and by walking more across February it may help you become more active, improving your physical and mental health!
