Happy 26th Birthday Ada!
At Manor Road Flats they recently celebrated Ada’s 26th birthday with a small party.
Manager Viorika said, “Ada started the day as expected with cards, presents and decorations. For her birthday breakfast Ada chose chocolate Swiss roll but decided she would rather take it to college to share with her friends and teachers. In the build up to her birthday, Ada had already been out for 2 meals with friends and staff, making it a full week of celebrations shared with some of Ada’s favourite people. Ada went to college on her birthday wearing the biggest birthday badge we could find and proudly pointed at it if people hadn’t noticed it. They were very grateful for the cake at college and agreed to have it at the end of the lessons. Ada really seemed to enjoy being centre of attention on her special day and I for one was very touched she wanted to share her cake out with others. When she returned home, she had a little gathering with staff Jo and Jo and the other resident at Manor, Amy. They had some snacky Chinese food (Ada’s favourite) and enjoyed some music and each other’s company. We also sang Ada a happy birthday with a big chocolate cake to celebrate! Ada appeared to have a great birthday, made special by the people she chose to share it with. Whether at college or at home, Ada had made some fabulous memories to last many more birthdays to come.”
