Peter and Lucy who are supported at Olive Tree have recently been on a trip to Disneyland Paris. ⛴️🎢
Manager Dave said, “Ever since Peter joined Olive Tree in 2015 one of his goals was to visit Disney land. Earlier this year we told you about how Peter had booked to go to Disney with his friend Lucy. After being supported by staff Peter set off on his travel to Disney via ferry (which was another one of his goals) to stay at the Disney Hotel for 4 nights. 😊 As you can see, Peter enjoyed every minute of his holiday and enjoyed visiting the different characters and entertainment across the complex. Luke (Peter’s support staff) stated that every now and then Peter would stop to tell him that Disneyland is Magical. 🪄✨ At Olive Tree’s Christmas party in 2023, Mr. and Mrs. Wilding told me that it was Lucy’s wish to visit Disney Land again and I suggested that Olive Tree could support Lucy with a trip to Disney, so that’s just what we did! 🙌 Staff supported Lucy in booking her Disney trip alongside Peter. Lucy had the most amazing time exploring at Disney and meeting all the characters. 🤩 They both had a great trip together and enjoyed every minute.” 😀
After the trip Olive Tree received 2 letters, one from Lucy and one from her parents:
