VIP Lunch with Lancashire’s Chairman

Last week, staff from our ‘outstanding’ service, Mansard House, attended a special lunch with the Chairman of Lancashire County Council.

The lunch was arranged by Lancashire’s Chairman to acknowledge and thank all organisations across Lancashire who have been rated by CQC as delivering an ‘outstanding’ service.

The team at Mansard could pick two representatives to attend on their behalf – after going to vote the service chose Manager: Michelle McColl and Deputy Manager: Rita Houghton to attend the VIP lunch in County Hall, Preston.

Chairman, County Councillor Anne Cheetham, said:

“I want to acknowledge the outstanding work that goes on in the regulated care sector to help and support vulnerable people to maximise independence and maintain quality of life. This invitation is in appreciation of everybody who works tirelesley to provide safe quality care in Lancashire.”
