The people we support have been celebrating Christmas in style with lots of activities taking place across our services Nationally.
Potens’ teams plan activities collaboratively with the people we support aiming for these to be inclusive, enjoyable, and cater to the individual needs of each person.
An example of one of the amazing schedules that have been put together within a Potens service in 2023 was created by Kayleigh Ashmore, Activity coordinator, and the team at Oakleigh Lodge:
Tuesday 12th December – Christmas dinner out at Hickory’s
Wednesday 13th December – Christmas lunch out at the pub followed by Christmas quiz and bingo
Thursday 14th December – Christmas Crafting followed by James Clause “the exercise man is coming to town”
Friday 15th December – Christmas jumper Day – “Billy Diamond” entertaining from 1pm
Saturday 16th December – “Kerry Harpers Christmas Games”
Sunday 17th December – Gingerbread baking with Mrs “Sonia Clause”
Monday 18th December – “Christmas College Special Disco” and a special visit from a special guest.
What an amazing schedule of activities to get into the festive spirit. Well done to Kayleigh and the team, we can’t wait to hear about the week ahead!
