Last week our services in the North East held a fantastic celebration party to mark Potens’ 30 Year anniversary – with every service across the Tees region coming together to celebrate in style!
Attending the celebration event were individuals and staff from Potens’ services: Middleton Lodge; Darlington Supported Living; Springfield; Avondale; Beaufort and Loftus.
Area Manager, Emmalyne Rumney, said, “All services played a part in the evening – from making food, to our maintenance guys running transport for the further afield services! The party was a huge success thanks to the real effort of the whole team in the Tees – we couldn’t of achieved it without all of theirhelp and support.”
The event was ticketed with all proceeds going towards Potens’ Extreme Challenge duo – raising money for Cancer Research UK, Time to Change, Mencap and Mental Health Matters.
Emmalyne adds: “The event raised a massive £620.00. We were proud to hand over the cheque to Wais following his challenge completion on Friday. To tie in with the anniversary celebrations we also celebrated two birthdays on the day – Natalie Richardson who lives at Middleton Lodge was 28 years old and Eddie West, who lives DSL and has been with us over 20 years, celebrated his 80th birthday!”
