“Achieve with Us” have a number of projects which aim to encourage social interaction into the local community. These are for individuals and small groups of people with special needs or learning difficulties to come and have the opportunity to be part of our project promoting community enterprise.
The baby clothes project brings in used toys and children’s clothing, promoting, collecting, recycling and then selling them on in their own shop in the town centre
What We Offer
Sourcing items from the community via local leaflet drops, advertising, telephone calls etc. (enhances communication & independence skills)
Collection of items from the general public (mobility)
Washing, drying and ironing of items (life skills)
Sorting items into sizes (numeracy and recognition)
Preparation, folding, bagging and labelling of items (dexterity & working as a team)
Selling at the “Achieve with Us” Wear & Share Shop (money, communication, independence, community & life skills).
We collect children’s clothes, sort & clean
We iron the clothes, and pack ready for re-sale
We have our own Shop in the community
