Razina and Safina who are supported at Olive Tree in Blackburn have both secured jobs volunteering in a local bookshop in Blackburn!
Their team told us: “We found out about some voluntary positions in a book shop based in Blackburn town centre. Razina and Safina’s individual support staff asked them both if they would be interested in volunteering their time a few hours every week.
Both were very willing and excited at the thought of working and so, with support to attend an individual interview and with completing the relevant application form, they were both offered a job!
They are both so happy to be working and as you can see are extremely proud of their new jobs, as are we. Well done to all involved to help Razina and Safina achieve their goal.”
