We welcomed over 100 people to this year’s leadership conference in Liverpool. 🙌
Our conference brought together people from across our organisation and the UK. It was an excellent opportunity to network face-to-face with colleagues. 😊
John Farragher, our chairman, welcomed everyone to the day, while Nicki Stadames, Chief Operating Officer (COO), introduced the conference’s central theme: resilience. 🌟
During the morning, Noreen Mitchell, Director of Quality, and Dan Bryan, Director of Commercial Operations, unveiled and demystified our new strategic plan with our operations directors. They revealed our new strategic framework and #OurRoadToOutstanding. 👏
Our keynote speaker, Darren Edwards, captivated the room with his moving talk about ‘Strength through Adversity’. He told us how he had overcome obstacles in his life, including coming to terms with his disability following a fall in North Wales, which helped him see his purpose. 💙
The afternoon workshops were not just sessions but interactive experiences that brought the day’s central theme of resilience to life. We celebrated successes, including our Staff Awards finalists and the winners of the County Show competition. 🏆
Following the conference, many colleagues stayed for an evening meal and a disco to continue networking and building relationships. 🪩
