Mansard House have organised a mindfulness bake off!
Angela explains: “One of the team had previously been on a mindfulness cooking course and thought this could be a fantastic way to incorporate a day of fun with with some education around food thrown in!”
“Individuals were put into teams with a staff member to each prepare a dish to then be enjoyed as a healthy buffet for tea!”
“Whilst we cooked, we talked about the ingredients that were being used and their nutritional benefits, how we can incorporate great foods into our daily meals.”
“We cooked all dishes from scratch, varying from quiche, kebabs to carrot cake! And the best part? We were all able to enjoy the fruits of our labour at the end and have a lovely buffet meal, with the quiche and homemade red lentil soup winning the day!”
