Maggie who lives at our service 185 Watling Street in Preston surprised her elderly neighbour with a beautiful hamper this Christmas!
Staff Member Emily told us:
“Maggie thought about Josette living alone and the idea came along we should make her a Christmas hamper. Christmas can be a very lonely time, especially as we knew that Josette’s family lived a long way away and with the restrictions it would be unlikely that she would have much contact with family and friends this year.Maggie took the lead asking for donations from the other people we support and the staff. A hamper was made complete with lots of little treats, food and some flowers. Maggie personally delivered it to Josette.”
A lovely heart-warming and kind gesture from 185 to a member of their local community!
