Maggie from 185 Watling Street Road has been struggling since lockdown with her 1-1 time and wanted a new challenge where she could engage with staff
Deputy Manager Emily explains:
“Staff member Mark suggested utilising the apple tree in the garden and picking some fruit and making a crumble – an idea which delighted Maggie!
“Mark was the brawn and picked the apples from the tree and Maggie helped collect and wash them, before making the crumble.
“It was wonderful to see Maggie building up some new skills and reigniting some love for baking. Hats off to Mark for thinking outside of the box and utilising something home grown for everyone to enjoy!”
