Segal Gardens is a specialist residential service based in St.Helens supporting individuals with autism, mental ill health, learning disabilities and complex needs. Segal Gardens comprises of three distinct services: Segal House, Oakwood House and Berry Bridge House, each able to support 5 people.

The houses are set within a three-acre site with lots of outdoor space including a sensory garden and planting area. We then also have the historical country park on our doorstep so there is plenty of green space for people to enjoy. In addition we have a separate large communal building that is used for everything from social events to activities and family meetings and reviews.

Segal House

With three ground floor rooms and two first floor rooms plus additional lounge, dining and kitchen we are able to provide person centred support in a homely environment. Our skilled staff team are experienced in person-centred support and our range of services and strategies can support individuals to effectively manage behaviours that may challenge.

Oakwood House
Oakwood House is a purpose built property that can provide 24/7 support for both male and female with a learning disability/autism. The property is homely and decorated to a high standard, it can also accommodate five people, all rooms have ensuite facilities. Our holistic approach is person-centred and promotes positive outcomes and development of skills for life. We work with individuals, and those significant in their lives, to set and achieve short, medium and long-term goals. These may change over time; our staff support and encourage the people we support to be actively engaged in reviewing their support plans.

Berry Bridge House

Berry Bridge House was also purpose built and can provide 24/7 support for five male adults with mental health needs. The accommodation is both spacious and homely, all rooms have ensuite facilities. At Berry Bridge House we understand that when people experience mental health conditions that they are supported in retaining their independent life skills, staff do however recognise that some people may experience enduring mental health conditions which may impact on their social behaviour and life skills.
