7- 9 Park Road South comprises three units; the primary aims of each unit is to offer flexibility of support to assess and develop individual’s daily life skills, actively promoting choice and empowerment and achieving real outcomes for any individual or group being supported. The function of each unit is detailed below.
Female unit (3 single rooms) is specifically designed to support female service users in a safe secure environment. The unit contains its own kitchen/ lounge/ diner and provides an environment for the service users to maintain and develop life skills and achieve outcomes away from the other units.
A 5 bed unit on the top floor of the building has its own lounge and kitchen/ diner. The focus on this unit is to support service users to develop essential life skills, promoting independence with a key aim to moving people on to supported living services as part of a planned pathway.
Those residing in the remaining part of house are consistently supported, continually monitored and reviewed to ensure that their desired outcomes are achieved and that the service provides support that maintains their well-being, whilst recognising that this is their residence of choice.
