Some brilliant feedback from CQC inspectors and our stakeholders following the Care Quality Commissions (CQC) latest inspection of Potens’ Supported Lives provision. The inspection, which took place in September, acknowledged the high quality support being delivered at the domiciliary and supported living services in Bradford – highlighting that the support provided is ‘Well-led, Caring, Responsive, Safe and Effective’.
Promoting our Value EQUALITY last week 8 pupils from Potens’ Specialist School, Arbour House, in Dorset met with 8 Dorset Councillors at County Hall to talk through issues that matter to the children as part of ‘YouthVoice’ Summit 2019. Part of their KS3 & KS4 work on ‘Democracy’, the children had some amazing ideas, demonstrating the values and talking through issues that are important to them as young people living in Dorset.
World Values Day is an annual campaign to increase the awareness and practice of values around the world – providing an opportunity to think about our most deeply held values and explore and act on them with others.
Good luck to our Business Development Manager Steve Field who is taking part in ‘Kip on the Kop’ at Tranmere Rovers FC tonight – joining other fundraisers to sleep rough in a bid to raise funds for the homeless in Wirral.

Potens were proud to support the Alcohol Change UK’s annual conference in Wales 2019 on Wednesday 18th of September, helping to raise awareness and promote specialist services set up for people who might not fit the usual treatment criteria – including some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
