CAREER PROGRESSION

We are a learning organisation and no matter what your role, we will encourage you to develop your skills and knowledge by offering a variety of learning and training programmes to help you develop your career.

You will complete a thorough and extensive induction that will equip you with the thinking and tools you need to achieve success in your role. This will include Potens key approaches in person centred planning, positive behavioural support and outcome focussed learning.

We encourage vocational qualifications such as NVQs and healthcare qualifications. There are also lots of smaller qualifications you can complete in a range of specialist areas such as learning disability, dementia, stroke, end of life care or activity provision.

Whatever you path, we can help you master your skills by providing regular supervision and feedback on your performance. We operate Competency Framework and have robust Learning and Development Policies and Procedures to ensure continuous development of our Workforce.

 

Vertical career development:

  • We offer thorough induction programs and training to all staff who join us.

Progression to other roles and management positions:

We are dynamic and growing company so there are constantly new opportunities available at different levels of the company structure and different specialist areas. You might want to progress into a further management role or specialise in one area of care such as learning disability, autism or mental health. You may need to complete some additional qualifications, however most of them in social care can be done once you start work in care as they’re specific to the job your doing and the skills you need to do it.
