We are excited to welcome Chester Road into Potens following an acquisition of the 6 bedded residential service in Wrexham, North Wales. Chester Road supports younger adults who are on the autistic spectrum.
We are delighted to share that two people residing at Paxton House (Borrowash, Derbyshire) will shortly be moving into their lovely new home. Ahead of the move, we wanted to recognise and celebrate this wonderful outcome and give a brief insight into how Paxton House have supported the transition.

We are delighted to announce that Potens has completed the acquisition of Oakleigh Lodge in Dudley. Oakleigh Lodge, led by Registered Manager Michelle Ashmore and her team supports up to 19 Adults with learning disabilities, autism and / or mental health needs in a Residential care setting, consisting of 6 flats and a 13 bed home.
Potens has gained approval to increase the number of SEN pupils utilising Arbour Hosue school to a total of 60 across two school sites. This culminates many months of careful restoration and modification of Maen, a former gentleman’s residence located off Culliford Road North, Dorchester.

Staff, pupils and governors at Potens’ Arbour House School are celebrating maintaining their Good rating, following a 3-day Ofsted Inspection in May 2022 at their Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Weymouth, Dorset.
We are delighted to announce that our residential service in Bury, Walmersley Road, has retained the Autism Accreditation Status from the National Autistic Society (NAS) again – demonstrating its continued commitment and best practice in supporting adults with Autism.’
